Sexual Violence Research

 

My lab is investigating techniques for improving police interviews in sexual assault cases, particularly when the victim was alcohol intoxicated during the crime. This research has been funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), National Science Foundation (NSF), and Alcohol Research UK.

 

We are translating the evidence base into recommendations for conducting interviews with sexual assault victims who were intoxicated during the crime. This work is funded by the Leverhulme/British Academy.
